Granted that we do have an "obligation" to go thru the entire ritual of updating and guinea-pigging the new image, the problems I have encountered with build 93, on a Thinkpad R61i, include: slow video (solved with a workaround) video suspend doesn't work corrupted NIC driver (need to resize mtu) battery monitor not working (the workaround worked only initially) USB auto-mount not working power-management still not working java environment still not properly set up I will try to do a send/receive of a build 91 snapshot from a different machine (this machine was image-updated directly from OS 08.05). If that doesn't work, I will change the default grub boot setting to the original CD, while keep the option of being able to boot back to build-93 if I hear any good news. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
