I installed os 08.05 into a USB HD. I have been happily booting from this
removable system, and all is running very well.
But then I did a stupid thing of plugging this USB HD into another os machine
and tried to mount ("zpool import") it. This failed. And I am no longer able
to boot from this USB HD: as soon as the grub boot moved into the second stage,
the machine would go into the reboot mode, and the process repeated itself
again and again.
Where is the best place to find info re fixing this disk so it can boot again?
