For OpenSolaris users, because the printing mechanism still has a few quite
serious bugs (again, my own experience), I doubt if anyone in our part of the
world is using OOo for serious businesses. But, for English language users, I
don't see much difference b/t Novell's version and Sun's (StarOffice and
StarSuite).

The biggest difference, however, is in the Chinese edition (both simplified and
traditional) of OOo. The SuSE version of OOo not only works very beautifully
in Chinese locales, but, thanks to the suggestion of yours truly (made a few
years ago), it also includes the UIM-pinyin-big5 input method, which is
practically the only way to input traditional Chinese characters without a
Chinese keyboard.

In comparison, the Solaris version of OOo has a "fatal" problem in displaying
even some of the commonly-used Chinese characters (for example, the name of the
President of China).
