The OpenSolaris grant team at University of Missouri - St. Louis ( http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/awards/awards_research_land/Proposals/CBIR/ ) had problems with audio, video, and with the package manager after installing OpenSolaris 2008.05 ( http://solaris-lab.cs.umsl.edu/trac/wiki/ ). After installing OpenSolaris 2008.11, everything worked with no issues:
