Not quite :) you can always mount your BE if you have more than one and
run update
on the BE directly.

CMIIW, Indiana create backup by-default during image-update, and the
only way you can lose a previous BE is if you manually destroy it
AFTER reboot :)
Since the last usable Xen version (for me) was snv_98 anyway (due to
hardware compatibility problem fixed in snv_107) I can wait two more
weeks. Especially since a vlan-related problem is also fixed in
snv_111 :)
