Luca:

I run OpenSolaris on both a Toshiba M9 and a Toshiba M10. Both work
very well with OpenSolaris.

I like the performance of the M10, though it is a tad bit heavier and
bulkier.

However, there is a bug with the CD/DVD USCSI driver on the M10 which
causes cdda2wav, sound-juicer and brasero to not work. Hopefully
they'll fix that bug soon, but I'm not sure I would recommend getting
the M10 before that bug is fixed if you like playing CD's or DVD's. Bug
information is here:

Hello guys, I need to buy a new laptop, could you give me some hints about models? I run of course opensolaris (dev branch) and I develope under JavaSE and JavaEE (using NetBeans and glassfish). Of course I run Virtualbox to test our apps under windows and/or other platform!
