mkfontdir required ?
I think putting the font there is enough (maybe restart X, I don't
know). -- Christian
The X server doesn't use ~/.fonts for the legacy font system, so
neither restarting X nor mkfontdir are required. fc-cache will
speed up access to fonts there.
