[image: Image]New Delhi, Oct 24, 2008: Everyone accused Muslims of being involved in all terrorist attacks, but Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has revealed that Hindu jihadists too are spreading terror. ATS has confirmed that Hindu groups were involved in September bomb blasts in Malegaon and Modasa that killed 7 people and injured a large number of other innocent people. All the people killed in the blasts were Muslims in both the cases. Amazingly they had chosen the day of Ramadan that is most revered by Muslims across the globe, the last Shabe Qadr. In Malegaon 5 people including an innocent 12 year old girl were killed by the blast while two teenaged Muslim boys were killed in Modasa in Gujarat. Muslims and several human rights groups have accused Hindu groups for several terrorist attacks that have rocked the country especially the ones that have taken place against Muslim mosques and shrines. Muslim organizations have long claimed that the attacks in mosques and graveyard that rocked Malegaon besides Makka Masjid blast and Ajmer dargah attacks were handiworks of the Hindu extremist groups. But apparently police and investigative agencies did not give a damn to such reports. It has also tried to hush hush the blast in Kanpur that killed two people while they were making bombs. Police initially said they were Bajrang Dal members, but later no further reports came out from police. This time, police sources say that breakthrough came when they traced the origin of the two-wheeler used in Malegaon. The vehicle used was a LML Freedom brand although some of its parts had been cannibalised from other vehicles and the chassis and engine numbers had been erased. But with this brand out of production, dealer records and help from forensic experts led the probe to Gujarat, the sources said.
