Good news! ONE MORE GOLD for Hisham today!!
Total TWO Gold Medals and TWO Bronze for Hisham in the CBSE Athletics
Meet 2008("Under 19" group)held on 7-9 November 2008, at Maharajas
College Stadium in Kochi, Kerala.
1. GOLD MEDAL : 400 Metres Race (51.4 seconds; State Record)
2. GOLD MEDAL : 200 Metres Race (23.2 seconds)
3. BRONZE MEDAL : 4 x 400 Metres Relay 4. BRONZE MEDAL : 4 x 100 Metres Relay
In addition to yesterday's gold medal with State Record in 400 metres
race, Hisham Abdulrahman won ONE more GOLD today (9th November) in 200
Metres Race (23.2 seconds). Similarly, one more Bronze in 4x400
metres Relay in addition to yesterday's Bronze in 4x100 metres relay.
Yesterday (8th November), Hisham made the new State Level Record in
400 metres race. He finished the 400 Metres Race by 51.4 seconds.
Despite the fact that this is the first time he become part of the
"Under 19" age group, he managed to broke the current state level
record. He was successful in breaking the existing National Record in
the 200m race of "under 16" (22.3 seconds)last year.
Also, Hisham is the current Gold Medallist in the "under 16" group for
400 metres and Silver medallist 200 metres races in the National CBSE
Athletics Meet, conducted in January 2008.
