According to my experience, E-code used in Arab country to indicate what type of color used in food items, instead of what type of fat used. Pig fat used in food items in other forms and name. Who live in Saudi no need to worry about pig. Saudi examine all imported food raw material in laboratory at sea/air/dry port before reaching to the customer. Prior the examination of any food items the importer should provide certificate attested by concern Saudi authority in respected country from the stuff coming from mentioning it is free from Pig and GMO (GMO is the food produced through genetic engineering) and more if requested for some certain products.
