Cyperaceae. There are about 600 sps. Common name is Sedges. Wetland plants.

I would like to know what kind of grass is this and what is its name/

It grows among many paddy fields, or rather wherever the water
stagnants much longer than required in paddy fields, is the area where
the grass grows. It has orange-like tips.
