oh thanx Gargji
i think the flowering season of this plant is nearing, i saw one plat already
in boom. in Thane we have these plants planted on one of the main road under
the scheme green Thane. when all these trees bloom it has fantastic tingling
smell, we can identif the smell from long distance. plants also look beatiful.
flowers are in infloresence, white colour. when fruits come again it is a nice
site, long , slender pods , hanging in bunches.
the seeds have hair like outgrowth, when the fruit breaks the seeds fly allover.
i dont remember correctly but the species name scholaris has to do something
with scholers.
is it the bark used for writting in old days?
Ulhasji can you help?
madhuri
