Thanks for the latin name Prakask ji. I have this growing in my garden. Got the seeds here in Kolkata where I have seen it growing wild. Sometimes the flowers are in bloom simultaneously all round the stem like some fancy lighting around a pillar. Typical Labiaceae flowers. The Malyalam name Thumba connects with the India's 1st rocket launching pad at Thumba. Was it growing wild there earlier before construction started there?
