Gloriosa superba is the state flower of Tamil Nadu. On East coast Road one
can see plenty of these plants.

hi ,
this is the first time i have seen a Gloriosa superba in a complete red
colour... is this common for this plant? [the complete red colour i mean, for i
have seen it half red and half yellow] also what is that part called? are they
the petals or the sepals or is there another term for that part of the plant?

regards,

vishnu
