Pix 1050 154 & 1050155 are both sps of Physalis genus. Belong to Tomato,
Potato, Chilli, Brinjal group. This grows wild here around Kolkata almost all
the year round. In fact, I have some plants fruiting now. Fruits of the
commercial grown variety are much larger and sweeter, but sold here only in
late winter. In Hindi called Makoi, but in market sold as Gooseberry (
incorrectly named ). In English also associated with "Chinese Lantern ".
