having been a member of this group for some time and after having read many postings, i am reminded of a story narrated by the inimitable richard feynman (physics nobel laureate) in his book 'surely you are joking mr feynman'.
as a young boy, richard got interested in birdwatching. he narrates that he was able to identify few birds to his father and tell their correct names. to this his father replied that the bird is called '.......' in german and '..... .......' in chinese. the moral of the story was; just knowing what the bird is called in a language is not enough. it is necessary to be interested in finding out more, what the bird eats, how it behaves during feeding, attack, courtship and so on. shall we, members of indiantreepics take a lesson here? with regards vivek gharpure aurangabad, india --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "indiantreepix" group.
