Hi Adesh,
According to Dr.Almeida's book [Flora of Maharashtra] and Yadav & Sardesai's
[Flora of Kolhapur District] Pleocaulis ritchiei generally flowers between
September to December. However Ritchie observed it flowering once in 7 years
and possibly that fact has stuck.
