During the Naturalists' Training Program run by S.Karthikeyan for JLR, one of the members, Chandu, said that he saw the Pitta on the JLR campus in Bannerghatta on 10th October evening (hence no photograph, and it was a "pitta" the rest of us didn't see it.)
I don't know many of the people on the email list above, but I assume they are all interested in the Pitta sighting! So I hope perfect strangers won't mind my emailing them.
