Although Dr Swamy's suggestions are better, it is still not a bad idea to flash 
the pix on this group site as it may give leads from unconventional sources 
such as the members here. 
Another advantage is the site members get a pictorial view of the plant.

In my view you should check the flora and other books and consult your
professors and confirm as you are in the Forest College instead of taking a easy
route by flashing photograph!
