Jyoti ji, the similar looking bracts of Mussaenda and Poinsettia can easily confuse many of us. Mussaenda: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dinesh_valke/324710144/ shows a 1.5 - 2 cm flower Poinsettia: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dinesh_valke/2095736094/ ... shows red bracts (do not have cream coloured yet) and many tiny flowers.
