A doubt
Since the fruits of Rumex look so much like Dodonea, is there some
connection? Same family?

... could PIX1 be *Rumex vesicarius*, the bladder dock ... it looks close to
what I have here:

and PIX2 is most likely *Clerodendrum viscosum* (syn. *C. infortunatum*),
