Thanks everybody Nikon coolpix5700 bought 4 years back.It has good macro mode as well as 8x optical zoom. The model has been discontinued.I have recently purchased a Canon 400 but am still waiting for optimum lenses for nature photography.(My mind says:Macro with f 2.8 and 100-400 IS USM for bird photography.)I am not sure whether it is proper to discuss this on this forum but since the question is related to our interests this may be useful for everybody. Dineshji Gargji Vivek Kaleji Vinod Guptaji and many others have displayed beautiful photographs. I love these pictures. Regards Satish
