In Bengal I have never seen the silver oak in flowering condition. Once I found a number of this plant all full of orange flowers in a place called Saiha in Mizoram, bordering Myanmar. Young boys were collecting nectar from the flowers, even some of them were sucking the honey directly from the flowers. They invited me , and I tasted, it was great.
