Embelia ribes is very rare. Commonly seen species is Embelia basal which is the
one in photo.

        Hi Prashant,
Embelia ribes [Wavding] is a climbing shrub. Sending you a few
photographs taken at my farm at Shahapur in July 2008.
                     With regards,
                       Neil Soares.

                Hi Prashant,
It looks like Embelia ribes locally called Wanding.
                                  With regards,
                                    Neil Soares.

                  Dear Friends,

Came across this small tree on top of "Tirangi Ghat" near
Murbad, Maharashtra during the month of July. The leaves were variable, some
were seen to be rounded at apex and some were pointed at apex. Kindly help me
in identifying this...

                  Thanks & best wishes
                  Prashant....
