A friend , from Coorg, has given me some fruit, green, turning yellow when ripe, egg-shaped, called Hog Plums. The flesh is sweet and sour and it has a large 'stone' inside. Could anyone give me the botanical name so that I may read some more about it? Thanks, Padmini.Raghavan.
