Dear sangeeta,
Look for a small gland in between the lower two leaflets of each leaf. Pl.
if any body can photograph it with micro. This plant is common every where
in the Konkan. It does flowers round the year in the marshy places and of
course in the places like nursery and irrigated fields. The othe close
associate is Cassia kolabensis, native and endemic to Raigad District ( old
Kolaba district). This plant has imparipinnate ( Odd leaflets) leaves.
