Dear Friends, This is to inform you that, due to delay in the arrival of monsoon the special event “Lunch with Lilies” scheduled on 14th June 2009 is postpone to 28th June 2009. We all are aware that lilies come after onset of monsoon, hence we have to wait for the arrival of monsoon and lilies, after all there is no excuse for nature.
Lunch with Lilies (28 June 2009) After the burning heat of summer, the first rain showers awaken the slumbering lilies which spring to life and bedeck the forest with their beauty. This is the best opportunity to view the forest in all its glory and join the forest in welcoming a lush, green season guaranteed to refresh your body, mind and soul. The programme includes Lily watching, presentation on lilies, Life history of Crinum lily, Medicinal Lilies, Tips on Lily Gardening and a Lily quiz. For children we have major attractions such as a Lily count, Lily craft, Lily quiz, Treasure hunt and Face painting. *Time*: 9:00 a.m. – 02.30 p.m. *Programme fee*: Rs. 400/- per Adult, Rs.250/- per child (age 5 to 10yrs).
