Ficus bengalensis and F. religiosa are endemic trees of India and would naturally be found in large nos. As such I would not call them invasive. Invasive is a term usually used for exotic plants found outside their natural habitats and which spread rapidly in their new surroundings due to favaourable environment.

Nobody says anything against ficus bengalensis and religiosa in spite of their being invasive. (Have I committed a blasphemy?)
