Originally Clover was cultivated in Europe as a fodder rich in N2
(from Rhizobium induced root nodules). However, it has spread all over
the temperate regions of the world. In Singalila range I found them
growing wild. making a beautiful lawn. The original white clover is
known as Dutch clover, now it has several strains spread all over,
with differing leave size. Trifolium has three leaflets, but sometime
you may find 4.

" One leaf for hope & one is for faith
and one is for love you know,
and God put another in for luck.
if you search, you may find where they grow."
Good luck!
