Lovely pic, Neil. The twisted vines resemble the twisted locks of girls !

Kiran, most of the Liana pix are of old creepers, may be a few years old, 
seeming to have turned woody. The Lianas that are supposed to hold water may be 
in fresh young shoots. If you come across very young shoot test this.
