*Set up a Raw Drug museum of medicinal plants with their scientific

**Prepared a check list on the flora of Peppara and Neyyar Wild Life
Sancturies of Kerala .

Rediscovered 15 endangered or possibly extinct species of angiosperms from
the Western Ghats. *

*Floristic study on the Sacred Groves in the Nedumangadu Taluk of
Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala. *
*(MSc. Thesis. Submitted to the University of Mumbai). *

*Floristic Study on the Sacred Groves of Thiruvananthapuram District,
Kerala. *
*(Ph. D. Thesis submitted to the University of Mumbai). *

*Floristic study on Kalakkadu-Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve (KMTR), Tamil Nadu,
India. *

*Collected and identified over 7500 accessions of herbarium specimens from
the Western Ghats *

*Developed a gene pool of all Indian species of the genera like Biophytum,
Thottea, Adhatoda, Plumbago, Rauvolfia etc at TBGRI*

*Conducted a pioneer field survey, mapping the vegetation, location of RET
species etc for proposing Gene Pool Conservation Areas (GPCAs) as the
in-situ conservation plots for the endangered species of the Western Ghats
of Kerala, India.

**Completed the Taxonomic studies on the Indian species of genus
ThotteaRottboel (Aristolochiaceae)

*Developed a Systematic Garden at TBGRI with over 88 angiosperm families.

Conducted capacity building trainings in Taxonomy to University students

Worked as a consultant for taxonomic identification of plants coming to
TBGRI for naming from colleges, universities etc.

Worked as a research guide for M.SC and B. Sc students.
