I believe that this tree too is a light colorform of B. tomentosa, albeit one
lacking the maroon-spotted petal. This is relatively uncommon here in the USA,
but I have seen one such plant and heard of others like it.

Ken Greby.

Dear All,In response to Rashidaji's post of 3 September on Bauhinia photos:
Kenneth Greby,  Rani Bhagat and J.M. Garg correctly identified it as Bauhinia
tomentosa.
I am attaching photos where petals are of yellow shade like B. tomentosa, but a
central petal distinctly lack its trademark maroon marking.
Just to knock down the possibilities of B. acuminata, its photo is also
included.A comparative picture of B. acuminata, B. tomentosa and unknown
Bauhinia might be of help.
