Searching in Wikipedia, I could not find Hypoxis aurea listed, although I came across 13 sps of the genus. One of the common names mentioned for the genus was Yellow Star-grass. Flowers are presumably yellow. The name ' grass ' is a misnomer, since the flower is unlike a grass, but lily-like in family hypoxidaceae, sometimes being included in Amaryllidaceae family or the Liliacea family. A pix similar to Katie's flower pix is shown in the link : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypoxis
