Devendra-- Here is the more typical (at least in the USA) form of T. x smithii:

Other lighter-colored selections (perhaps F2 hybrids?) such as yours and this: http://www.biopix.eu/PhotosMedium/JCS%20Tecoma%20smithii%2047104.JPG are indeed in the trade. I'm certain that your specimen is T. x smithii; I'm just not certain if it is a separate, named cultivar.
