"This looks very much like Drynaria quercifolia or the oak-leaf fern
(Quercus being the generic name of Oak). At what elevation was it found?
Generally D. Cordata are found at an elevation of 4000 ft in Nilgiris and
the Western ghat wheras D. quercifoliais common all over the country in low
elevations from sea-level. In Kolkata and nearby regions it is found on old
moist walls as well as trees.
