I finally visited the place with Mayur Nandikar ji on date. The species seems to be *Commelina* *diffusa* Burm.f.<https://sites.google.com/tpl/record/kew-233842> as per details at https://sites.google.com/site/efloraofindia/species/a---l/cl/commelinaceae/commelina/commelina-diffusa The whole plant has prostrate habit, while the flowering branches appears to be erect.
