The earlier images were kindly identified by communication from Dr G Staples ( Nov 2012) based on sepals and types specimen at Kew as *Argyreia cymosa (Roxb) Sweet.* Last week (January 2013) I could find the evening blooming flowers, which are shown below. This gorgeous plant, growing wild near an old well., is unbelievably, again from semi-rural areas of hot, hotter Chennai
