Your pictures seem to be of Embelia tsjeriam-cottam DC. Pl. correct me if i
am wrong.

Generally E. basaal (now E. aurantiaca) leaves will be fleshy, sour, smooth,
without purplish veins beneath and the fruits usually found on older stems.

Flora of Ceylon can be referred for clarity in the nomenclatural confusions
existed in the group.
