Muthu-ji,
There are similarities in the leaf growth, size; and the pointy branchlets;

 But  the Gmelina.I have seen ( Bangalore) has different texture,
herbaceaous, somewhat pubescent; leaves are entire, margin sometimes
sinuate.

This plant leaves are thickly fleshy, smooth, many are three-lobed .  Have
you seen this type in flowering/ fruit  stage ?
