Then I won't atleast forget this plant. I have been seeing this plant lying unidentified at Flowers of India for so many days, and always fascinated by its inflorescence. I don't really subscribe to the view that grasses and sedges can't be identified merely from photographs. Digital photography these days affords much better features, often not even seen by naked eye, as was proved with nigro-punctate leaves on this website. An expert has to only first time spend time on unknown plant, once he knows it, my experience says that you can identify it at first look. We have to identify hundreds of specimens for our students, when they bring their bundles of plants before exams.
