Garg Sir, Please change this id to *Stephania japonica* var. *discolor* (Blume) Forman, as in my another post - https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/rSLlHVKjymc/discussion.
I re-checked the seeds of this species too, i have its herbarium, cleaned one of the seeds thoroughly, and there is a perforation in the centre, which i missed earlier. Thank you, Regards, surajit On Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 9:41 PM, surajit koley < [email protected]> wrote: > Thank you very much Usha Di, i also wanted to know which *Stephania* is > this. > > Regards, > > surajit > > > On Fri, Oct 26, 2012 at 11:44 AM, ushadi Micromini < > [email protected]> wrote: > >> Very well done >> knew you were persistent and we got to see this rarely seen flowering and >> then seeds >> thanks >> >> usha di >> >> On Thu, Oct 25, 2012 at 9:50 PM, surajit koley < >> [email protected]> wrote: >> >>> Sir, >>> >>> Attaching seed >>> images<http://www.efloras.org/object_page.aspx?object_id=111781&flora_id=2>of >>> the same >>> plant<http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=200008451>, >>> recorded today. >>> >>> Thank you & Regards, >>> >>> surajit >>> >>> >>> On Tue, Oct 23, 2012 at 8:58 PM, surajit koley < >>> [email protected]> wrote: >>> >>>> Sir, >>>> >>>> Recorded some pictures today of a twiner that i think is the same >>>> species in this thread. >>>> >>>> Thank you & Regards, >>>> >>>> surajit >>>> >>>> >>>> On Mon, Aug 6, 2012 at 10:55 PM, surajit koley < >>>> [email protected]> wrote: >>>> >>>>> Thank you Garg Sir for making this post relevant again. >>>>> >>>>> I searched previous group posts of *Stephania japonica* and found >>>>> these- >>>>> >>>>> - post by Muthu Ji - >>>>> https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/uqkdCpUTUT8/discussion >>>>> - by Prashanth Ji - >>>>> >>>>> https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!searchin/indiantreepix/stephania$20japonica/indiantreepix/PM8UeJo6bY4/Szwy3YCOljUJ >>>>> - Raju Ji's post - >>>>> https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/kKnqeqyHp9U/discussion >>>>> - a discussion - >>>>> https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/-lZ-rNP974o/discussion >>>>> >>>>> Also some info or pics from the google search- >>>>> >>>>> 1. a herbarium - http://www.kew.org/herbcatimg/274069.jpg >>>>> 2. >>>>> http://www.noosanativeplants.com.au/plants/458/stephania-japonica >>>>> 3. a variety of *S. japonica* - >>>>> >>>>> http://keys.trin.org.au:8080/key-server/data/0e0f0504-0103-430d-8004-060d07080d04/media/Html/taxon/Stephania_japonica_var._japonica.htm >>>>> 4. another variety - >>>>> >>>>> http://keys.trin.org.au/key-server/data/0e0f0504-0103-430d-8004-060d07080d04/media/Html/taxon/Stephania_japonica_var._timoriensis.htm >>>>> 5. another herbarium - >>>>> >>>>> http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&lvl=sp&name=Stephania~japonica >>>>> >>>>> With regards, >>>>> >>>>> surajit >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> >>>>> On Mon, Aug 6, 2012 at 2:53 PM, jmgarg1 <[email protected]> wrote: >>>>> >>>>>> Forwarding again for Id confirmation or otherwise please. >>>>>> >>>>>> Some earlier relevant feedback: >>>>>> >>>>>> “I have not seen this so far but yes it does appear to be *Stephania >>>>>> japonica*. >>>>>> Wikipedia mentions it as found near sea....that is the reason it may >>>>>> not be that common in Maharashtra esp Pune( Or I have not observed it yet >>>>>> )” from Satish ji. >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> “Thank you once again for the probable ID, i am looking forward to >>>>>> get its flower or fruits. >>>>>> >>>>>> Regards, >>>>>> surajit” >>>>>> >>>>>> ---------- Forwarded message ---------- >>>>>> From: surajit koley <[email protected]> >>>>>> Date: 28 July 2012 00:05 >>>>>> Subject: Re: [efloraofindia:122900] vine : Stephania japonica ? from >>>>>> Hooghly 20/7/12 SK >>>>>> To: Satish Phadke <[email protected]> >>>>>> Cc: efloraofindia <[email protected]> >>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>> Sir, >>>>>> >>>>>> Recorded these pics yesterday, 26/7/12 @ 9.47 A.M., at another place >>>>>> from another vine.
