This is edible arum and a good number of people likes it. But unlike what
had been recorded in "Bengal
Plants<http://ia600604.us.archive.org/BookReader/BookReaderImages.php?id=mobot31753000237419&itemPath=%2F32%2Fitems%2Fmobot31753000237419&server=ia600604.us.archive.org&page=n452_w1150.jpg>",
these days, it is not cultivated locally. It grows on its own, with
scattered distribution all over Hooghly and locally known as MAN-KOCHU.
Some people collect it from rural natural habitat to satisfy urban palates.
