This can be either Eria pauciflora or Eria pseudoclavicaulis. Cant confirm
without flowers.
Usha mam, swollen things can be many things by definition.
It can be stem or root or leaf or part of leaf.. In this case the swollen
part is stem. They store reserve food material for the plant as Orchids are
generally xerophytic in nature.
