I think you are right Gurcharan ji. As you mentioned, it is unclear if it
has to be treated at variety level (ref. many databases), specific level
(TPL) or as synonym under C. argentea (s.l.). But I support giving it (and
other taxa such as plumosa and cristata) a status (preferably at varietal
level) instead clubbing all under C. argentea, in order to understand the
level of 'distinct' variations/forms.
