Agree with Giby ji.. till genus Lagerstroemia.. I think in *Lagerstroemia parviflora* Roxb. , the bark is peeling as seen above. And in *L. lanceolata* the bark is rough, with exfoliations.. But may not peel off .. However, my observation is based on limited specimens from Central Western Ghats. Regards, Gurumurthi Hegde
