Some earlier relevant feedback:

Do we take it as Celosia spicata Spreng?
Celosia argentea var. spicata does not seem to have been published.

Dr. Gurcharan Singh

Many thanks Gurcharan ji.
I was not sure whether to go ahead putting this var. *spicata* ... could
not find it at GRIN or the Plants List.
Me too would wait to know whether this plant is just *Celosia argentea* L
... or *Celosia spicata* Spreng ?
Regards.

Dinesh

Not aware of any variety spicata.
It is just *Celosia argentea* in BSI Flora Mah.
Dr Satish Phadke

Many thanks to all for appreciation.
Agreed Satish ji, this must be Celosia argentea L.
Will revise my notes at flickr, soon.
Regards.

Dinesh
