I have this plant at home with coloured leaves and exactly the same soaking
pink flowers. I have just posted image of leaves
here<https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/indiantreepix/SNFbXaY14rQ>
.
Last year leaves were more of pink. This year leaves are green+ pink.
I had noticed that the part of leaves which were in sun was more pink and
the parts in shade were green.
Sparrows gorge on the seeds, I haven't tried uptill now :)

Seeds were sold to me as Celosia Plumosa ( Cockscomb), I am still confused
as to what exactly it is called celosia argentea var. plumosa or celosia
cristata*.*
