Thank you Satish ji for the appreciation and the article in  Pune Mirror by
Gauri Dange. Yes the beautiful blooms do bring a smile on one's face and
also a safe home for many small birds.
I tried to come to some conclusion about the species taking help from
'Bougainvillea
species pg 19 ' of http://www.askmar.com/Bougainvilleas/Bougainvilleas.pdf

but was still confused.
