Dinesh Ji,

I am yet to see any *Cyathula* and one of the synonyms of *Cyathula
prostrata*, given in the F. B. I., is *Pupalia prostrata* Mart.!

I think :-

   1. the leaves of this plant is somewhat rhomboid, unlike *Pupalia
   lappacea*
   2. in *Pupalia* the tepals are more acutely angled
   3. spike in *Pulalia* is significantly longer and rests upon vegetations
   4. of the three *Pupalia* described in F. B. I., *P. orbiculata* Wight
   is restricted in Concan Ghats and Carnatic. The rest two, *P.
lappacea<https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/3ZWyy4bdnLE/discussion>
   * & *P.
atropurpurea<https://groups.google.com/d/topic/indiantreepix/98FLdyL3GVE/discussion>
   * are synonyms today!

Thank you,

Regards,

surajit
