Dear members,
Dr. D S Rawat has been working in alpine zones of Uttarakhand since 1987
when he opted to explore “Alpine flora of Kuari Pass Dalisera Alpine zones
in Chamoli district” for his M.Sc. dissertation. Since then trekking in
alpine zones of Uttarakhand had been more an addiction of these enchanting
landscapes of “Bugyals” than merely collecting plants/ ecological data. He
have mainly interacted with plants of these areas, herdsmen (Bakarwals)
roaming there but little with the experts, taxonomists or ecologists. Now
since last few months, he is part of efloraofindia family.

We are all impressed by his postings, photographic as well as taxonomic
skills & he has won everybody's heart in these past few months.

So he truely deserves to be eFi man for the month of February, 2013 among
members (excluding moderators).

His posting details can be seen

.

Congradulations to Dr. Rawat.
